  20. Version 2.11 strengthens the password locking function.  Previous versions
  21. had a bug where a user could <ALT><ESC> out of the password dialog box.
  22. A smarter password encryption algorithm is now being used.  Next version
  23. will have Novell network password support!

  25. Version 2.1 contains a new function, AutoLoad for automatically configuring
  26. Windows (through the WIN.INI file) so the screen blanker will automatically
  27. load itself each time you run Windows.
  28. A bug was found that caused the timer delay to be off when initially
  29. loading the program.

  31. Version 2.03 contains a lot of additional features (over 1.x) 
  32. for customizing the screen blanker.

  34. ***************************** EASY INSTALLATION ***************************
  35. 1) Copy the files HSCRBLNK.EXE and HSCRLIB.DLL into your Windows Directory.
  36. 2) Run Windows
  37. 3) Through the Windows File Manager, MSDOS.EXE or however else you run
  38.    Windows applications, run the program HSCRBLNK.EXE.
  39. 4) Select AutoLoad in the Blanker Menu to configure Windows so that Harry's 
  40.    Screen Blanker will automatically load each time you run Windows.

  43. In the Blanker menu, under the "Set Delay" menu item, you can
  44. set a time delay from .10 to 10.00 minutes.  The default is 4 minutes.
  45. After you set the delay, MINIMIZE the Screen Blanker and your screen 
  46. will blank after the specifed time of keyboard and mouse inactivity.

  48. After the specified time of inactivity, the program appears. Pressing any key 
  49. or mouse button will minimize the program.

  51. Selecting the "Blank Now" menu item will run the progam just as if it 
  52. had timed out.

  54. Passwords can be set so that when a key or mouse button is pressed during
  55. the running of the screen blanker, the user must type in a password in order
  56. for the screen blanker to stop.  If the user types in the wrong password
  57. a notification dialog box appears and the screen blanker continues running.

  59. The Password menu item allows you to set your own password and enable
  60. password checking.  Initially, your password is blank or empty.  Passwords
  61. are scrambled and placed in your win.ini file.  If you ever forget your
  62. password, you will have to reboot your computer, edit your win.ini file, and
  63. delete the line "password=xxxx" under the heading "[Harry's Screen Blanker]".

  65. The Options menu item allows you to configure the "look" of your screen
  66. blanker.  The number of lines can be set between 1 and 1000.

  68. To set the color order, select a color to change from the list box,
  69. then press the button corresponding to the new color desired.

  71. The RANDOM Blanker Type causes the screen blanker to randomly choose one of
  72. the other blanker types each time it is run.
